The Story So Far is a five-piece pop punk band from Walnut Creek, California. The group was formed in 2007 and consists of frontman Parker Cannon, guitarists Kevin Geyer and Ryan Torf, bassist Kelen Capener, and drummer Will Levy.
In 2012, the group signed with Pure Noise Records and came out with their first EP, Smile. Their debut album, Under Soil and Dirt, was released the following year to both commercial and critical acclaim; it hit number nine on the Billboard Heatseekers Albums chart and number 46 on the Top Independent Albums chart. Since then, they’ve released two more studio albums: What You Don’t See in 2014 and Connection in 2016.
The band’s sound has been described as “a mix of classic ’90s pop punk with a modern twist”, with influences from Blink-182, New Found Glory, and Sum 41.
